At Egrow Smart, we are committed to providing high-quality electronics, Arduino boards, IoT devices, CCTV accessories, smart home products, sensors, robotics kits, and DIY electronics components across Nepal. Many of our products include a limited warranty to ensure customer confidence and product reliability. Please read this Warranty Policy carefully before purchasing.

1. Warranty Coverage

Warranty coverage varies depending on the product type and manufacturer. Products eligible for warranty may include:

  • Arduino Boards
  • IoT Devices
  • Smart Home Automation Products
  • CCTV Cameras & Accessories
  • Sensors & Modules
  • Electronic Devices
  • Robotics Components
  • Power Supplies & Adapters

Warranty duration is mentioned on the individual product page where applicable. If no warranty period is specified, the product may be considered without warranty unless otherwise stated.

2. Types of Warranty

Egrow Smart may provide:

  • Seller Warranty — warranty directly provided by Egrow Smart
  • Manufacturer Warranty — warranty covered by the product manufacturer or official distributor

Warranty terms may differ depending on brand and product category.

3. What Is Covered Under Warranty?

Warranty generally covers:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Non-working products under normal usage
  • Hardware malfunction due to internal component failure
  • Product defects verified by our technical team

If a product fails during the warranty period due to manufacturing issues, we may provide repair service, replacement, technical support, or store credit (in selected cases). Resolution depends on product availability and issue verification.

4. What Is NOT Covered Under Warranty?

Warranty will be void and not applicable under the following conditions:

  • Physical damage or broken parts
  • Burned or short-circuited components
  • Water or liquid damage
  • Wrong voltage connection or incorrect wiring
  • Reverse polarity damage
  • Improper installation or misuse
  • DIY project mistakes or user modifications
  • Software, coding, programming, or configuration issues
  • Damage caused by power surges or electrical fluctuations
  • Tampered warranty stickers or altered serial numbers
  • Consumable parts or accessories

Electronic components damaged due to improper handling or experimentation are not covered.

5. Dead on Arrival (DOA) Products

If you receive a product that is not functioning upon delivery, please report it within 48 hours of receiving the item. Customers should provide:

  • Order number
  • Product photos/videos
  • Issue description
  • Unboxing video (recommended)

DOA claims reported after the allowed period may not qualify for replacement.

6. Warranty Claim Process

To request warranty service:

  • Step 1: Contact Egrow Smart support team
  • Step 2: Provide Order ID, product details, problem description, and product photos/videos
  • Step 3: Our technical team will inspect or troubleshoot the issue
  • Step 4: If approved, the product may be repaired, replaced, or sent for technical evaluation

Customers may be required to ship the product for inspection.

7. Warranty Verification & Testing

All warranty claims are subject to technical inspection. Egrow Smart reserves the right to:

  • Test the product
  • Verify the issue
  • Reject invalid claims

Products found fully functional after testing may be returned to the customer.

8. Warranty Replacement Conditions

Replacement is subject to:

  • Product availability
  • Stock condition
  • Technical verification

If the exact product is unavailable, an equivalent alternative or store credit may be offered. Warranty does not guarantee instant replacement.

9. Shipping Charges for Warranty Claims

If a warranty claim is approved, Egrow Smart may partially or fully support warranty service depending on the case.

If the claim is rejected, the customer will bear return shipping costs. Courier charges for warranty service may vary by location.

10. Limitation of Liability

Egrow Smart is not responsible for:

  • Project failure due to incorrect use
  • Data loss
  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Business interruption
  • DIY project malfunction caused by improper setup

Customers are advised to consult product specifications and technical support before installation.
